Every Dayflow plan starts with the same Mac app: automatic capture, a readable timeline, and recordings stored on your computer. The plan changes who configures the AI analysis and which organization controls are included, not ownership of your work history.
Free: local or bring your own AI
Use Dayflow without a subscription. Connect a supported local model for fully on-device analysis, or add your own Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic API key. This is the best fit when you want maximum control, already have a provider account, or prefer to inspect and run the open-source app yourself.
Pro: managed AI with zero setup
Choose Pro when you want Dayflow to handle the model configuration and usage. It is $20 month-to-month or $16 per month when paid yearly. Your screen recording still stays on your Mac; the managed service processes the screenshots needed to write the timeline and then deletes them after processing.
Enterprise: deployment and controls

Is Dayflow really free?
Yes. The free plan includes automatic activity capture, a private local timeline, AI-powered summaries, bring-your-own provider keys, and the open-source app. You can also run a supported local model and keep the analysis on your Mac.
What does Dayflow Pro add?
Pro removes the work of configuring and paying for a separate AI provider. Dayflow manages the analysis for you, so your Claude or ChatGPT allowance is unaffected. The app, timeline, and privacy controls remain the same.
Does Dayflow upload my screen recordings?
Your recordings stay on your Mac. For AI analysis, you choose a local model, your own third-party provider, or the managed Dayflow Pro service. A cloud option may process selected screenshots, but it does not receive or retain your full screen recording.
Can I switch AI modes later?
Yes. You can move between local processing, your own provider, and Dayflow Pro as your privacy, cost, or convenience needs change. Your existing local recordings stay under your control.
What is included for Enterprise teams?
